ELLEN GORMAN
Ellen Gorman is Lecturer in English at Georgetown University and George Mason University. She has a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia and a Master's in English Literature from George Mason University. Currently a doctoral student in the Cultural Studies Program at George Mason, Ellen is co-editing a book on the Hummer automobile entitled "The Hummer: Myths and Consumer Culture."

Dr.LORNA HAHN
Dr.Lorna Hahn is the founder and director of Association on Third World Affairs (ATWA), an organization that promotes democracy in the third world. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hahn has taught graduate courses in International Relations at Georgetown University, American University, Catholic University and Howard University. She is the author of numerous books including North Africa: Nationalism to Nationhood and A Historical Dictionary of Libya. She has served as a consultant to several presidential candidates and has been published in prestigious publications such as Foreign Affairs; The New York Times; and The Christian Science Monitor.

Dr. JOHANNA BOCKMAN
Dr. Johanna Bockman is a Professor of Global Affairs and Sociology, and the Director of the Global Affairs Program at George Mason University. Her research focuses on globalization and economic thought. Before coming to Mason, she worked at various academic institutions and also wrote reports at the Congressional Research Service on reconstruction assistance in Afghanistan, humanitarian issues in Iraq, the U.S. domestic policy debate on Iraq, foreign support for the war on terrorism, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
